New training ground and time starting from the month of August

Hey All,

How have you guys been? Training hard? I know there has been no news about the SFL but we shall have trust and confidence that the organizers will come up with a solution soon and start off the long overdue league, as we can see from the clock above. In the meantime, lets work to better ourselves so that we can achieve excellence and serve the purpose of us getting together as a club, other than to play Floorball of course. :)

Starting from this weekend, 14 Aug 2010 we will move our practices to Saturday mornings at 10-12pm instead of Sunday evenings. I think we should just leave Sundays for rest and recuperate after a long hard week, especially for those whom are working. Most times after a good workout during Floorball trainings, its super hard to sit on a chair for a long time come Monday. Some of you who have been to trainings lately might know what I'm talking about. ;)

There will be a poll at the sidebar of our blog to see if this move will be favourable to you guys so make sure you take the poll and maybe we can discuss the timing during one of our training sessions.

The other major news is that starting from this Saturday as well, we will be moving our practices to the Volleyball court in Sek 19, Shah Alam. Some of you have been there and some of you have not. For those of you who don't know how to get there, no worries, the Google map above has been provided for your ease of reference. Just click on it and try to figure out where it is (I know Shah Alam is not a favourite place to most for obvious reasons :P) and if you still can't figure it out you can give a call to Philip or myself for Gracebandiens and Alvin or Ricky for Salibandiens. If you need transport, do call the people mentioned above as well and they will be more than willing to help and bring you along (I hope! Just kidding, I know they have and will always :D).

Starting from this month as well, we will start to collect club fees (for Gracebandiens) as we have ran out of funds since the last collection together with your jersey kits. The monthly club fees for a start will be RM10 per month to be paid at the beginning of each month. That means this Saturday, I hope that all of you will be able to settle your club fees with our treasurer whom will be appointed and announced soon here. Do keep a lookout by the end of this week on the blog for the appointment of the treasurer and hunt him/her down to settle your club fees. If you miss your dateline for the monthly club fees at the beginning of each month, an attendance fee will be levied at a rate of RM4/session (this means that for every week you come for club trainings, you will be paying RM4/session). I'll leave it to the treasurer to decide based on his/her leniency if for any reason at all someone misses the dateline to clear their fees. For the month of August, this will be the club fee structure and we will review the fees again for the months moving forward based on the club needs which for now is, really, only the hall rental for our club trainings.

For accountability purposes, the accounts will be reported at the end of the month of August during the last club training for the month and if deemed suitable to publish here, that will be done as well. From the looks of it, our regular club fees will be drastically less once we get the proper accounts done. The initial fees that is being applied for the month of August is to clear up our 'hutang' with the man that has been supporting us much. You know who he is. ;) Please say your thank yous when you see him around as we would probably be seeing him less now since the club training have been moved to Saturdays.

I guess this should be all that is in my mind now. Will keep you guys posted on our new treasurer soon.

One team, one way.
